Since, physical intimacy is an integral part of one’s life and masturbation helps him in getting through the satisfaction and orgasm when your partner is not around. Masturbating once a day is healthy and twice a day is considered normal; however, going beyond the spectrum of normal isn’t a good idea. Over- masturbation (masturbating more than twice or thrice daily) can have serious side effects on your health and sex life.
Listed below are a few ways over-masturbation can affect your health:
- Premature Ejaculation: Premature ejaculation is the emission of sperm with minimal stimulation before or as soon as the penis is inserted. This can result in dissatisfaction of both the partners. Premature ejaculation is a condition which might be a result of over masturbation as your pelvic muscles weaken which results in an inability of holding in the ejaculation for long.
- Fatigue and Headaches: Because the penis needs a resting period after one orgasm and isn’t provided with enough time, it can lead to fatigue in the whole body as the blood flow becomes more constricted. This can result in a person becoming more lazy and tired throughout the day and this fatigue can also result in frequent headaches.
- Hormonal Imbalance: Over-masturbation can cause hormonal imbalances which isn’t good for the body. Hormonal imbalance causes blurry vision, gastrointestinal problems, digestive issues and restricted bowel movements. Hence, masturbating too many times a day can affect your overall health.
- Sperm Leakage: Sperm leakage or seminal leakage is the discharge of sperms from the penis without getting an erection. This can be a sign of weakening of the nerve which maintains the ejaculation valve, due to excessive self-stimulation.
